Do I need a graphics card?
No. Text detection runs on your computer's processor; the large models run on our servers.
Which files can I import?
A folder of images (PNG, JPG, WebP), CBZ, ZIP or PDF.
Which languages are supported?
Japanese to English is the best-tested pair today.
Are my files uploaded?
Your files stay on your computer. A page is sent to our servers only while it is being translated and is not stored or shared.
Can I translate manga I don't own?
No. Serifu is a tool for books you have bought or have the rights to translate. See the Terms.
Is Serifu related to Koharu?
Serifu is built on Koharu's open-source code (MIT / Apache-2.0) and credits it on the Licenses page. We are not affiliated with its authors.
