Retouch flagged areas

Text inside speech bubbles is cleaned automatically. Text drawn directly on artwork, such as captions over a background or signs, is left in place: the translation is lettered over it with an outline, and the area is flagged. Removing it means repainting the art underneath, which an image model can do, but it costs a credit and the result is not always right, so Serifu only does it when you ask.

Redraw an area

1. Open the page in the editor. Flagged areas are outlined.
2. Click Redraw (1 credit; refunded if the redraw fails). You can also paint over any area with the brush and redraw it the same way.
3. Or keep the original lettering and move your translation next to it.
